On Sept, 9 2017 our mentors, guides and volunteers pulled off our first HOAS disabled hunt and showed up with smilies on and ready to help in anyway. There is so many people to thank for their support and help. Big thank you to the Rocky Mountain Elk Foundation for sponsoring this hunt, the cooks stood over boiling oil and hot cookers and fed over 250 folks at lunch and 200 for supper, all the ladies chipped in and made desserts, served food and sold 50/50 tickets. Our guides were awesome and we shot a total of 10 deer in one day!! We had local business that donated to our first shirt in memory of Anthony Barnes that was a huge success. So many smiling faces yesterday and some tears of happiness from folks seeing our mission for the first time. Last, we want to thank Guy Mundy for having such a big heart and his hard work organizing this hunt, guides and hunters.
